DUE TO THE EMISSION OF MANY CHEMICALS INTO WATER BODIES SUCH AS RIVERS, THE RIVERS GET POLLUTED. THE OIL FROM THE CHEMICALS FORMS A LAYER ON THE WATER SURFACE WHICH RESTRICTS THE INTAKE AND OUTTAKE OF OXYGEN.
