Maximum weight that can be carried by the van = 800 kg

Therefore, No. of boxes that can be loaded into the van=

 \frac{maximum \: weight \: capacity}{weight \: of \: each \: box}  \\  =  \frac{800 \: kg}{4.5 \: kg}  \\  = 160 \div 9  = 17.777...

Therefore maximum no. of boxes that can be loaded into the van = 17 .
