Hira lal wants to cover the floor of a room 5m wide and 6m long by squared tiles. If each square tile is side 20 cm then find the number of tiles required

Area of the floor = lb (since the floor is rectangular)
= 6×5
= 30m² = 300,000cm²
Area of one tile = side²
= 20²
= 400cm²

Tiles required = 300,000/400
= 750 tiles
