  1. The object of the active voice becomes the subject in passive.
  2. The subject of the active voice becomes the object in passive proceeded by -- "by".
  3. The main verb in the active voice is changed into 3rd form of the verb.
  4. The 3rd form must be preceded by verb-be. The tense of the verb be is determined by the tense of the active voice.
