A poor woodcutter used to live in a village . His wife always quarreled with him regarding their poor status . The woodcutter went to a nearby forest to collect timber everyday. He used to climb trees and cut its branches , his axe once falls into the river . The woodcutter cries for help as his axe was his only source of income . Suddenly , the God of water appears and asks him why is he crying . After hearing his story the god goes back into the river and bring out a golden axe and then a silver one but the woodcutter refuses to accept that it belongs to him. Finally god brings out his real axe and then he became very happy and accepted it. seeing the woodcutters honesty the God pleased .
