Chanakya was a teacher in the ancient university of Takshashila. His real name was Vishnu Gupta. He was the person behind the ascent of Chandragupta Maurya to power by overthrowing the Nanda dynasty. He wrote the book Arthashastra, an ancient Indian treatise on political science, administration and governance. Apart from this, he also had considerable knowledge in the field of economics. He was King Chandragupta Maurya's most trusted minister.

Chanakya also known as kautilya was a teacher at the ancient takshila university. He was a minister of the mayuran empire. he helped ashoka a lot. As hioka could only succeed because of chanakya. He was the author of arthasastra a medicinal book .
