1) Mutiny is a revolt among a group of people (typically of a military or of a crew) to oppose, change, or overthrow an organization to which they were previously loyal.

2)The land policies adopted by British were for their own profit maximization and not for the benefit of Indian society. These policies later became a major factor in most of the revolts against British and played a major role in instigating the fight for independence.

3) The Nizam of Hyderabad was the first to accept the Subsidiary Alliance in 1798. Lord Clive also introduced the subsidiary system in Oudh and the Treaty of Allahabad was signed where the British promised the Oudh territory from enemies like Marathas.

4)Humanitarian measures initiated by the British in India were; Banning Sati by Governor-general William Bentinck. It was made a punishable offence. Passing of Widow Remarriage act 1856.
