When Japan extended support to Hitler and bombed the US base at pearl harbor ,the US entered the second world war.

The war ended in May 1945 with Hitler's defeat and the US dropping the bomb on Hiroshima in Japan.

They shouldn't have attacked the US, because even during the 1st world war the allies were strengthened by the US entry in 1917 ,won, defeating Germany and the central powers in November 1918
