ExplanFrost is known as a poet of nature. He does not glorify nature in his poems as Wordsworth does. He takes an objectives view of nature. The positive as well as negative aspects of nature are described by him.

In this poem Frost presents a positive view of nature. The poet was in a depressed mood. The day was unpleasant for him. But when a crow shook doen a dust of snow on him, his mood suddenly changed for the better.
