In similar triangles:

Area ratio will be the square of ratio of altitudes - medians - sides

here given that 1st triangle altitude is 2 and the 2nd triangle altitude is 3

Area ratio of triangles = A₁/A₂ = (xyz triangle altitude)²/(abc triangle altitude)²

⇒ A₁/A₂ = 2²/3² = 4/9
