The alphabet 'a' does not appear anywhere in Zero to Nine Hundred and Ninety Nine(0-999). In numerals, for the first time 'a' appears in the word THOUSAND. Unless, you count like 101 as One Hundred and One and consider 'a' in the word 'and' as first a of numbers.
Also you can count up to One Hundred and you will not find alphabets 'a', 'b', 'c' and 'd'. 'B' appears first in One Billion, 'C' in One Octillion and 'D' in One Hundred.
