aromatic hydro carbons consists of closed rings of carbon atoms. Aliphatic hydro carbons consists of linear chains of carbon atoms

Aromatic Hydrocarbons: The Carbocyclic (closed chain) organic compound which contain at least one benzene ring.

e.g. Toluene, Benzene Sulphonic acid etc etc....

Aliphatic H/C: The open chain organic compounds in which carbon atoms are connectedin series from one to the other.

e.g. n-Butane, 2,2-Dimethyl propane
