. find the surface area of cube A and latest surface area of cube B.

ANS. surface area of cube A is equal to 600 CM square and lateral surface area of cube B is equal to 256 CM square .

STEP BY STEP EXPLANATION

SIDE OF CUBE A= 10 CM
SIDE OF CUBE B= 08 CM
Therefore... S.A. OF CUBE A
 = 6 \times \:  {side}^{2}
 = 6 \times  {10}^{2}
 = 6 \times 100
 = 600 {cm}^{2}

And the latest surface area of cube B is equal to area of its four adjacent faces so
L.S.A. OF CUBE B
 = 4 \times  {side}^{2}
 = 4 \times  {8}^{2}
 = 4 \times 64

 = 256 {cm}^{2}
