Metals Dont Liberate Hydrogen Gas when Dissolved With Nitric Acid (HNO3) Because HNO3 is a Very Strong Oxidising Agent. When A metal Dissolves into Nitric acid Hydrogen gas gets released but due to HNO3 it gets oxidised to form Water (H2O) and itself Gets Reduced To Nitrates/Nitrite forms.
