Yes, it is true that Hemkunt Sahib is mentioned in Dasam Granth. But the question is on the authenticity of Dasam Granth. In it Guru Gobind Singh Ji mentions how he was produced from earth by a holy person to save Goddess Durga. Meaning he was not created by GOD. And how he did his meditation at Hemkunt Sahib and from there GOD sent him to redeem the people of Kalyug.
As far as Hemkunt Sahib goes, this is a made up place. But “Sa Dharti pai hariaavali jithe mera satgur baitha aave”. Since Guru Granth Sahib is kept there and GOD’s name is recited, this place has become sacred.
Only a small part of Dasam Granth is correct, some parts of it where deleted, while other parts were added using the names of Poet Raam, Shyam and Kaal - which is just a word play on Raam Chandra, Krishna Ji and Kalki Avatars.
After Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s death in 1839, British attacked the Khalsa Empire. Both sides were losing badly, Sikhs had run out of Ammunition. There were some Dogre Sikhs who sided with British and informed them that the Khalsas are running out of ammunition which caused the British to win the war. This traitors were given land and titles for their corruption. Out of them came the Singh Sabha
One of the greatest Traitor of Sikhs was Bhai Kahn Singh Nabha. His handler was Max Arthur Macauliffe. They both conspired to create separate religion of Sikhism and inject poison into Sikh history along with Singh Sabha. One of the famous book of his was “Hum Hindu Nahin”
For his role of Back Stabbing Sikhs, the British awarded Kahn Singh Nabha as a title of Sardar Bahadur. In real life he was Gaddhaar Sardar.
No wonder why Delhi Sikhs call their servants “Bahadur”. Kahn Singh Nabha was a true slave, I mean servant of the British.
By 1890 there were 32 versions of Dasam Granth around Amritsar Area alone.
It was people like Kahn Singh Nabha and Singh Sabha who blessed Dasam Granth and put it in parallel to Guru Granth Sahib at Harmandir Sahib. Fortunately it was later removed by some good sikhs.
