2. Food- 25 3/4

3. Amount he gave to his friend- 16 1/2

The amount he initially had = 10 1/4 + 25 3/4 + 16 1/2

= 52 1/2

Therefore the total money he had is 52.5 rupees or in fraction form 52 1/2 rupees.
