Signum function:-
This function says that for all x > 0, y = 1 and for all x < 0, y= -1. The function is written is f(x) = |x|/x , where x is not equal to 0.
Let us check value of f(x)
for different values
For x = -1
x is smaller than 0
so, f(x) = -1
For x = -2
x is smaller than 0
so, f(x) = -1
For x = 1
x is greater than 0
so, f(x) = 1
For x = 2
x is greater than 0
so, f(x) = 1
For x = 0
x is equal to 0
so, f(x) = 0
Now, you can go throw with that attachment for how to plot in graph;
hope it help u mate;
