1. Describe the progress of events after syngamy of male and female gametes.

2 Describe the different types of asexual reproduction exhibited by unicellular organisms.​

Answer:

1. One of the male gametes moves towards the egg cell and fused with its nucleus thus completing syngamy . This results in the formation of a diploid zygote. And after the formation of endosperm then zygote is formed into embryos .

2. ASEXUAL REPRODUCTION :-

Asexual Reproduction involve the participation of single individual parent.

It generally occurs without the formation of sex organs.

It does not involve the meiosis or reduction division.

Asexual Reproduction does not involve sexual fusion or fusion of two gametes. Zygote are not formed.

Since Asexual Reproduction does not involve meiosis and fusion of gametes, the offspring are genetically similar to parents and they do not show variations.

It is very quick method of multiplication and , therefore used by plant breeders for cloning.
