The answer seems to be of a different question altogether.

Use: v=u+at and put a=2cm/sec², u=0 and t=3 sec to get

v=6cm/sec=0.06m/sec as the velocity 3sec after start.

panda80: v is not given
Arceus11: I am assuming "start" means "start from rest". Otherwise the problems has insufficient data
Arceus11: problem*

I think the question and answer are different so I will answer according to question u may check answer with your ncert book

solution is given at the last page

of the book

let initial velocity to be 0 as it is starting

acceleration 2cm/s² and time has given 3 sec

so by 1st eq of motion

v=u+at

v=0+2/100*3

100v=6

v=6/100=0.06m/s²
