Let the number of boys be x then number of girls = 2/5 of x

ATQ ---> x = 2/5 x = 49

5x + 2x / 5 = 49

7x/5 = 49

7x/5 = 49

7x = 49x5

x = 49 x 5
x = 245/7

x = 35

HENCE THE NO. OF BOYS = 35 ANS GIRLS = 49-35 = 14.
