l \times  \sqrt{m}  = k

where k is proportionality constant.

l=6,when m=4,

so

6 \times  \sqrt{4 }  = k

k=12

Now

l \times  \sqrt{m}  = 12

when l=4

4 \times  \sqrt{m}  = 12

 \sqrt{m }  = 3

m=9
