  • presence of gamete /germ cell.
  • involvement of two parents ie male and female
  • involved major variation
  • generally found in plants and animals including human being

asexual reproduction

  • absence of gamete / germ cell
  • involvement of single parents
  • involve minute variation
  • generally found in amoeba, paramecium etc.

  1. it's always uni - parental .
  2. Gametes are not formed.
  3. fertilization doesn't exit.
  4. it involves mitosis.
  5. multiplication occurs rapidly.

Sexual reproduction -

  1. bi - parental.
  2. Gametes are formed.
  3. fertilization occurs.
  4. meiosis and mitosis are involved.
  5. multiplication is not rapid.
