Unification of Germany:-
1) Otto Von Bismarck was the chief architect of this process.
2) He carried it out with the help of Prussian Army.
3) He had followed the Blood and Iron policy.
4) He fought three years over seven years -with Austria, Denamrk and France which ended in Prussian victory and completed the process of unification.
5) In Jan 1871, the prussian king, William I was proclaimed as the German emperor.
Unification Italy:-
1) Guiseppe Mazzini founded an association called Young Italy for the unification of Italy,
2) The revolution of 1831 and 1848 failed to bring about any change.
3) Count Camillon De Cavour through his diplomatic alliance ucceeded in defeating the austrian forces.
4) Guiseppe Garibaldi succeded in winningthe support of the local people in order to drive out the spanish ruler,
5) In 1861, Victor Emmanuel II was conferred with the title King Of Italy.....
