•Balance the following equations and explain also plzzzzzz.
1.HNo3 + Ca(OH)2 = Ca(No3)2+H2O
2.NaOH + H2So4 = Na2So4 + H2O
3.NaCl + AgNo3 = Agcl + NaNo3
4.BaCl + H2So4 = BaSo4 + HCL

Answer:

2HNO3+Ca(OH)2= Ca(NO3)2+2H2O

2NaOH + H2SO4 → Na2SO4 + 2H2O

NaCl + AgNO3 → AgCl + NaNO3 already balanced

BaCl2 + H2SO4 → BaSO4 + 2HCl

I hope it might help you

1. Ca(OH)2 (s) + 2 HNO3 (aq) → Ca(NO3)2 (aq) + 2 H2O (l)

2. 2 NaOH (aq) + H2SO4 (aq) → 2 H2O (l) + Na2SO4 (aq)

This is an acid-base reaction (neutralization): NaOH is a base, H2SO4 is an acid.

3. NaCl (aq) + AgNO3 (aq) → AgCl (s) + NaNO3 (aq)

This is a precipitation reaction: AgCl is the formed precipitate

4. BaCl + H2SO4 → BaSO4 + H2Cl

This is an oxidation-reduction (redox) reaction:

2 HI + e- → 2 H1/2

(reduction)

BaI - 1 e- → BaII

(oxidation)

H2SO4 is an oxidizing agent, BaCl is a reducing agent.
