Let the height of the tower be H,
And let the speed of the car be v.

Then x = 12 v

Now solving above two equations we get,
y + x = √3 y

x = √3 y - y
x = (√3 - 1) y
12 v = (√3 - 1) y

now y will be v t

12 v = (√3 - 1) v t
12 = (√3 - 1) t
t \: = \frac{12}{ \sqrt{3} \: - 1 }

t \: = 6({ \sqrt{3} \: + 1 })
