Solution :-

As we know that

Current = \dfrac{Charge}{time}

Now charge on a single electron

= 1.6 × 10⁻¹⁹

Now no. of electrons

= 10¹⁸

Then total charge

= 1.6 × 10⁻¹⁹ × 10¹⁸

= 1.6 × 10⁻¹

Now time

= 10 mili sec

= 10 × 10⁻³ sec

Hence current

 = \dfrac{1.6 \times 10^{-1}}{10 \times 10 \times 10^{-3}}

 = \dfrac{1.6 \times 10^{-1}}{10^{-2}}

 =  1.6 \times 10^{-1} \times 10^2

= 1.6 × 10

= 16 Amper

Now direction of current is opposite to the direction of charge. (movement of electrons)

So Current = 16 Ampers opposite the direction of charge.
