amitnrw: (N!/)(N-5)! = 42 × N!/(N-3)! So 1= 42/(N-5(N-4) so (N-5)(N-4)= 42 whle 6×7 = 42 so N = 11 as (11-5)×(11-4)= 42

Answer:

10

Step-by-step explanation:

(N!/)(N-5)! = 42 × N!/(N-3)!

1/(N-5)! = 42/(N-3)((N-4)((N-5)!)

1= 42/(N-3(N-4)

(N-3)((N-4) = 42

N^2 - 7N + 12 = 42

N^2 - 7N -30 = 0

N^2 -10N + 3N -30 = 0

(N-10)(N+3) = 0

So N = 10 as N greater than 4
