Perigee:-

★ The shortest distance between the planet and the focus(sun) during its orbiting is known as Apogee.

★ At this point the planet have a maximum velocity into its orbit around sun.

Apogee:-

★ It is the longest distance between the planet and the focus(sun) during its orbiting is known as Apogee.

★ The velocity of a planet at this point is minimum.
