Bacteria called rhizobium convert nitrogen from atmosphere into nitrates and nitrites which are used by plants and animals. When these plants and animals die these bacteria and rhizobium converts nitrates and nitrites into atmospheric nitrogen again. This cycle continues.

saswatnayak111: they have symbiotic bacteria called rhizobium in their root nodules which help in converting nitrogen into nitrates and nitrites..

when the leguminous plant dies the fixed nitrogen is released when it decomposes in soil making the other plant and soil available of Nitrogen..

hope it helps.
abhishek55343: i cant understand
saswatnayak111: plz mark as brainliest
saswatnayak111: They contain symbiotic bacteria called rhizobia within nodules in their root systems, producing nitrogencompounds that help the plant to grow and compete with other plants. When the plant dies, the fixed nitrogen is released, making it available to otherplants; this helps to fertilize the soil.
