Hoe do we connect Veetmter and Ammeter in an electric circuit? What is likely to happen if the position of thes instruments ar interchanged?

Voltmeter is connected in parallel . Ammeter is connected in series . Ammeter has low resistance if connected in parallel it would offer very low resistance to the circuit causing high electricity to flow . Vice versa is the case in voltmeter
