Harry Potter is one of the most famous award winning novels, written by J.K Rowling. It has a total of 7 series. All of the series is incredible, fantastic and magical. It is hard to choose only one as my favourite.
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
It is the second book in the series.
It was Summer time , Harry's least favourite time of the year as he had to stay with the Dursleys. The Dursleys locked him up in his bedroom. But Ron, his best friend along with his twin brothers , Fred and George Weasley came to rescue him.
It has got many interesting and important parts. Like,
We all got introduced to the the members of the Weasley Family. Harry had his first visit at The Burrow, which is the home of the Weasley Family.
Ginny goes to Hogwarts for the first time. Harry gets to know that he can speak Parseltongue. Ginny was being controlled by Tom or Lord Voldemort through a diary. Malfoy becomes the seeker of the Slytherin Quidditch team.
We got to know about Moaning Myrtle. And who can forget the Polyjuice Potion!
We all got to know that Lord Voldemort or the Dark Lord was earlier called as Tom Marvolo Riddle and he used to go to Hogwarts like the other ordinary students!
The most interesting facts which makes the book my favourite are :-
The flying car through which Ron and Harry reach the school.
The talking and huge spider trained by Hagrid , Aragog
The scariest tree, The Whomping Willow , because of which Ron's wand gets damaged.
Fawkes, Professor Albus Dum-bledore's phoenix shows the power to cure injuries.
The sword of Godric Gryffindor , by lifting it Harry proved he is a true Gryffindor!
Tom Riddle's Diary , through which Ginny was being controlled.
Lastly, Dobby , the house elf. Who can forget him ! At last he got free of the Malfoy family through the help of Harry.

It's really hard to decide which one is my favourite as I'm a Harry Potter fan but i guess its the Philosopher's Stone. In this book Harry Potter discovers a surprising secret that he is a wizard which gives the answer to why unusual things happen around Harry while he is living at Privet Drive in the Muggle world with his Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon and his cousin Dudley Dursley who has been taunting Harry since he has arrived at the Dursleys doorstep ten years before. Many surprising things happen around Harry example when he has been given an haircut his hair grows the same as it was before in only one day. One day Hagrid the gamekeeper and Keeper of Keys and Grounds of Hogwarts comes to the Muggle house and is surprised to learn that he will be going to Hogwarts where wizards go. His Aunt and Uncle are really angry and worried that everyone will discover that they are related to wizards. Harry discovers that his parents did not die in a car crash but had been killed by a Dark Magic wizard named Lord Voldemort a.k.a Tom Marvolo Riddle. Anyways Harry goes to Hogwarts and discovers that he's really famous at Hogwarts as he had survived when Voldemort tried to kill him and only escaped with a scar on his forehead. He makes friends with Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger and enemies with Draco Malfoy and his friends with Crabbe and Goyle. He is sorted into Gryffindor, one of the best houses by the Sorting Hat. He studies many subjects like Divination, Potions by Snape who seems to dislike him and is liked by only the students of his own house Slytherin,Herbology and many others and learns many spells like Expelliarmus,Stupefy,Perfecto Totalus,Wingardium Leviosa etc. He plays Quidditch a sport played on broomstick. He meets Lord Voldemort in the end when he finds the Philosopher's Stone.
