There are basically 2 types of reflection:-

1) Regular Reflection:-

In this type of reflection, parallel beams of light falls on a plane reflecting surface and after reflection, these rays reflect back equally which means that before reflection, they are parallel to each other and after reflection also they are parallel to each other.

2) Irregular Reflection:-

In this type of reflection, parallel beams of light fall on an uneven surface and after reflection, these rays do not reflect back equally, i.e.. before reflection the rays are parallel to each other, but after reflecting from an uneven surface, the reflected rays are not parallel to each other.

Note:- When I meant the reflected rays are not parallel to each other doesn't means that Law of Reflection is violating, it just simply means that if 4 rays before reflection were parallel, then after reflecting from an uneven surface, they are no longer parallel to each other. Law of reflection is never violated. [See fig.2]
