Energy =power *time............ (1)

First we calculate power P by using the current 4A and voltage of 12V.

Now, P =V*I

P =12*4

P =48 watts =0.048kilowatts

Time =10 minutes =10/60=1/6 hours

Now putting p=0.048KW and t=1/6 hours in (1) equation,

E=0.048*1/6=0.008KWh

Potential Difference, V = 12v

Time duration, t = 10mins => 600sec

To find :- Energy (E)

Solution:-

Energy = P.D x current x time

E = VIt

E = 12 x 4 x 600

E = 28800 Joule

Energy = 2.88 x 10^4 J
