SOLUTION

Number of 50paise coins= x

Number of 100paise coins= y

according to given condition,we get

=) 50x=100y-----(1)

=)50x+100y= 100Rs.(100Rs.= 100×100= 10000Paise)

=)50x+100y= 10000paise-------(2)

solving (1)&(2) by eq^n coefficient method, we get

=) 50x-100y=0

50x+100y=10000

=)-200y= -10000

=) y= -10000/-200

=)y= 50

Now, put y= 50 in(1) equation, we get

=)50x= 100y

=)50x= 100(50)

=)50x= 5000

=) x= 5000/50

=)x= 100

Number of 50 paise coins= 100

Number of 100paise coins= 50

HOPE it helps☺️✌️✔️
