Given :-

  • Speed of Sunny = 2m/s.
  • Speed of Johnny = 4m/s.
  • Radius of Circle = 7m.

To Find :-

  • How long will it take them to be at the same spot. ?

Solution :-

Circumference of Circle = 2πr

→ Circumference = 2 * 22/7 * 7

→ Circumference = 44m.

Now,

we Can Say That, In One Round They will Cover Distance Equal to Circumference of Circle that is 44m.

So,

Time Taken by Sunny = (Distance/Speed) = (44/2) = 22 seconds.

Time Taken by Johnny = (Distance/Speed) = (44/4) = 11 seconds.

Concept :-

Meeting at the starting point on a circular track Again For First Time : -

Step 1: Find the time taken by all the runners to complete one round.

Step 2: Calculate the LCM of those times.

The LCM will be the answer to the question.

So, we Have now :-

Time Taken by Sunny = 22 seconds .

→ Time Taken by Johnny = 11 seconds.

LCM :-

→ 22 = 2 * 11 * 1

→ 11 = 11 * 1

LCM = 2 * 11 * 1 = 22.

Hence, we can say That, it will take 22 Seconds to them to be at the same spot For The first Time.
