hey mate

here is your answer!!!

solution:

given:

initial velocity(u)=0 m/s

final velocity(v)=90 km/hr

=90*5/18

=25 m/s

time(t)=3 min

=3*60 s

=180 s

thus,

acceleration (a)=(v-u)/t

=(25-0)/180

=5/36 m/s²

thus,

distance covered=

v²=u²+2aS

v²=2aS. [u=0]

25²=2*5/36*S

625*36/10=S

S=22500/10

S=2250 m

S=2.25 km

LegendaryQueen: thankuu so much!
LegendaryQueen: Would you plzz say that why you have multiplied 90 with 5/18
LegendaryQueen: plz
Anonymous: Sure.

The above mentioned picture gives you the whole solution to this question. For further details, feel free to contact me. But, there are something which you have to agree with, that is "CONCEPTS OF PHYSICS". One book, same name, "CONCEPT OF PHYSICS", written by H. C. Verma is presently very popular for conceptual questions and bringing interest.

If you are an ICSE student, you should follow one book "CONCISE PHYSICS", ICSE [Selina Publishers]. Because, if the basics are not at all clear, more critical questions are waiting to come infront of you. Practice numericals from how many books you can, i.e., as many as possible. Your improvement will become sure.
