Hola Brainlians !!!
Analyse the following observation table showing variation of image distance with object distance in case of a convex lens and answer the question that follow without doing any calculations
1) What is the focal length of the convex lens? Give reason in support of your answer
2) Write the serial number of that observation which is not correct. How did you arrive at this conclusion.
3) Take an appropriate scale to draw ray diagram for the observation at S. No. 4 and find the approximate value of the magnification.

Answer:
1. -11.1cm
Explanation:
(1/v) - (1/u) = (1/f)
1/100 - 1/10 = 1/f
So,
1/f = -(9/100)
f = -(100/9)
So,
f = -11.1 cm
Sry, I knew only first.
