The three fold distribution of legislative powers between the union goverment and the state governments is done by preparing three lists. The following lists are :-

  • State List :- The list stating about the welfare of a state & it's local needs. It includes the trade, agriculture, economic conditions, political leaders. The state government can make law individually.

  • Union List :- The list talking about the national welfare such as defense, communication & networking, currency exchange, economical situation. The Union government can make law individually.

  • Concurrent List :- It states about both state & union government. It talk about Flora, Fauna, vegetation, lifestyle, trade, society & culture, knowledge & education etc. It makes the laws formed by conflicting each between state & union list .
