The Road Not Taken
The poem 'The Road Not Taken' written by Robert Frost is a short poem that enhances the importance of decision making in our life. In our life, we come across many situations where we need to make an efficient and right step. This decision has two results that is either páss or fail. This poem can be related to the real life of the poet. Once, the poet faces a situation. He finds two roads diverging in the yellow wood which signifies that it was the season of spring. He felt sad as he can't travel on both roads together since he has to choose only one road He finds that one road is more worn up. That means that it's grasses have been rubbed by foot steps signifying that most of the people opted for this road. And the second one is less worn. Very rarely someone has opted the second one. The poet doesn't know the way to which both the roads will lead. But he get's tempted to choose the second one. He said that both roads lay equally and thus they are equal. Only our actions can determine the way at which we travel. In the final stanza, he says that if he get's succeeded he shall tell about the second road to other with a sigh and relief. He can say that two roads travélled to two different ways, and he opted the less travélled one which changed his life.
