Here's the Answer :

Non - cooperation movement launched by Mahatma Gandhi was one of the greatest political upheaval during freedom struggle .

Gandhiji launched the Non - Cooperation movement with some specific aims and due to some reasons . They are :

To gain freedom for India . India was in the hands of British and British are badly exploiting our nation's people .

To retain back the Indian economy . After first world war India's economic condition was totally destroyed . Indians had to face sever losses in trade and also unemployment grew in India . Only due to economic pressure made by British during World War 1.

Gandhi also aim that by this national movement he will unit Hindu and Muslim people together . Actually at that time when Non - Cooperation movement was about to launch , Indian Muslims had launched Khilafat movement against British . So , Gandhi called them to join and fight together against British .

During that time Jallianwala Bagh Massacre was one of the biggest tragedy in India .This movement was also a frustration against the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre .

Another aim of Gandhiji by Non-cooperation movement was the start of self rule and self-development . So , during Non - Cooperation movement people use Khadi - muga and cotton silk made by Indians. All Indians boycott foreign goods . Arbitrations were set up for solving disputes . Even national schools and Colleges were also established .
