↪Actually welcome to the concept of the IONS FORMATION

↪Basically we know that , Atoms are always electrically Neutral in nature ,that means , they have same number of Electrons and Protons

↪ So now , when we remove an electron from the atom , thus it becomes electrically imbalanced , so thus there formation of ION ,

↪so here , atom changes to an ION by transfer of the charges ,

↪Also if the atom has ore electron affinity , it attracts electrons due to which more electrons in atom imbalance and again an ION is formed.

↪Basically there are two types of IONS

〽CATIONS --》 MORE PROTONS , LESS ELECTRONS

〽ANIONS --》 MORE ELECTRONS , LESS PROTONS
