Here you go!!

Demonetisation was introduced by Our Prime Minister in India on 8 November, 2016.

Demonetisation which means the withdrawal of currency (whether in coin form or in paper form) from the economy.

Our PM withdrawad the paper currency of 500 and 1000 rupees notes from the economy and introduced new 500 rupess 2000 rupees and 200 rupees notes in the economy with some different paper form.

The purpose for withdrawing the currency at one go was to trace the black money in the economy.

The purpose was to stop the fake currency notes circulating in the economy

The purpose was to reduce terrorism.

In the course of demonetisation Indians faced cash crisis which also led to the promotion of digital payment and digital India.
