cyclotron:- cyclotron is a device which is used to accelerate positively charged particle like protons neutrons Alpha particle and positive ions so that to acquire enough energy to carry out nuclear disintegration.

Explanation:

principal:- when positively charged particle is made to move time and again high frequency electric field and using strong magnetic field then it get accelerate and acquire large amount of energy.

construction :- it consists of two hollow shaped camber called as dees . this is very small gap between dess where positively charged particle . the dess are connected to a high frequency of oscillation which provide strong electric field between the given the particle is inside then it is shelter from electric field but magnetic field act on it so that the oldest article on circular path inside it the radius of semicircle was increase with increasing acceleration so that part of particle become spiral this whole arrangement place between a strong magnetic field provided by a strong electromagnetic field
