can someone please tell me that why 2( lb + bh + hl ) formula is used to find area ,,, rather than l * b,,,, in above question,,,,
??

Hola!!

In question it is asking about rectangular sheet...i.e it must have length, breadth and height( represents 3-D fig)

so, formula to be applied is 2(lb +bh+lh)

but, if it is asked only for rectangle (plane, 2D) then you can apply formula l×b
