Explain formation of natural gas !!! ​

Natural gas is formed under Earth's crust by the decomposition of marine plants matter and tiny sea animals buried under sand and rock, in conditions of high temperature high pressure and absence of oxygen so just like coal and petroleum natural gas is also a fossil fuel .

It is formed when layers of decomposing plant and animal matter are exposed to intense heat and pressure under the surface of the Earth over millions of years. The energy that the plants originally obtained from the sun is stored in the form of chemical bonds in the gas.
