P = 2( l + b )

160 = 2( 2x+5+x )

160 = 2 ( 3x+5 )

$\frac{160}{2}$ = 3x + 5

80 = 3x + 5

80 - 5 = 3x

  75 = 3x

x = $\frac{75}{3}$

x = 25

b = x = 25m

l = 2 (25) + 5

   = 50 + 5

    = 55m

∴The length and breadth of swimming pool are 55m and 25m respectively.
