Hola Mate

In Young's double-slit experiment, the fringe width is 0.1 mm when light of wavelength 600 nm is used. calculate the fringe width when the entire apparatus is immersed in a medium of refractive index 4/3 by keeping the source of light in air.

Formula of fringe width ...

β = λD/d

μ = β/β'....(β' = fringe width in medium)

β' = β/μ

β' = 0.1 x 3/4 = 0.3/4

β' = 0.075 mm

have a great day ☺️
