Solution:-

Given:-

wavelength(\lambda)= 5000 Å = 5 × 10^{-7}m

Find:-

Momentum(p) = ?

By using De-broglie equation

wavelength = \dfrac{h}{p}

\lambda = \dfrac{h}{p}

p = \dfrac{6.63 × 10^{-34}Js^{-1}}{5 × 10^{-7}m}

After solving this we get,

p = 1.32 × 10^{-27}kgm/s

Hence, the momentum of a photon of wavelength 5,000 Å will be 1.32 × 10^-27kgm/s.
