Let magnetic dipole moment for each magnet be m

a) M =√m² + m² + 2 m x m x cos90°

M = √m² + m² + 0

M = m√2

b ) since both are aligned opposite to each other ,

M = 0

c) M = √m² + m² + 2 m x m x cos30°

M = √m² + m² + 2 m x m x √3/2

M = √m²+m²+√3m²

M =m√(2+√3)

d) M = √m² + m² + 2 m x m x cos60°

M = √m² + m² + 2 m x m x ½

M = √m² + m² + m²

M = m√3
