What is the difference between  UNISEXUAL and  BISEXUAL FLOWERS ?


Answer :-


The differences are given right below ↓↓↓↓↓


(i) Bisexual flowers contain the reproductive parts in two different flowers.

(ii) Unisexual flowers contain the reproductive parts in the same flower.


(i) They are nice looking and attractive to attract insects.

(ii) They are not so attractive as they are pollinated by wind.


(i) They have chances to undergo either self-pollination or cross pollination.

(ii) They undergo only self-pollination.


(i) They undergo insect pollination mainly.

(ii) They undergo pollination by wind mainly.


(i) Example : mustard , pea.

(ii) Example : papaya , water melon.



Note that the first one is for bisexual and the second for unisexual flowers.
